Taylor, also known as “Prince Taylor” and “Tay-Tay,” is a yellow lab who served her country in 2 deployments. She was very good at the job of protecting fellow soldiers, so the Taliban had got a bounty.
Sgt. Tom Hanson was always by Tay-Tay’s side to protect her (and she always protected him too). She discovered several hidden bombs near where he was standing, and saved his life on several occasions.
Recently Tay-Tay retired from the military and she could no longer receive threats that can hurt her.
After military dogs have completed their service, they are usually adopted . However these kinds of reunions are very costly, and are therefore difficult, to realize. That’s where Molli Oliver’s assistance is needed.
Although Molli was a flight attendant, her real passion is reunification of military women and men with the dogs with which they served. So Molli used her own pocket money to fly military dogs home to help their soldiers adopt and provide them their forever homes. The video below shows Sgt. Hanson earnestly awaiting Taylor’s arrival so he can do adopt him.
“Where’s Daddy?” Molli asked Taylor on their first class plane. “We’ ll go look for him!”
In the video, you can see the exciting moment when Taylor starts running straight into Sgt. Hanson’s arms, all thanks to the great and selfless Molli.
This is an amazing reunion. I strongly urge you to share it with your Facebook friends.
